Are you looking to bring traffic to your store and the most important sales? You are in the right place.
We’ve created an article below on how to create your first Facebook campaign.
1. Setting Up The Campaign
Campaign Objective
One of the first steps to running ads is to set up your campaign.
Here you will select the goal of the campaign (we always go on conversion).
Below we will select the name and others, how we structure it is:
- Campaign type
- The goal of the campaign
- Countries
- Budget
You can also ask if it is cold / warm / hot traffic (we will discuss this in another article).
2. Adset Editing
Adsets are the next ones we need to set up after we set up the campaign.
Budget & Schedule
Here you will select your budget, $5-10-20 depends on BEP and how long you want to wait after the dates. Day and time to start, 12:00 AM / LOS ANGELES TIME. (it’s not important, just that you read all the data at a certain time)
We always select to start the next day and at 12:00 AM Pacific Time.
Location target
This section depends on where you want and where you can deliver the products. We usually go to the TOP 5 (UNITED STATES, UNITED KINGDOM, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEELAND, CANDA) or only the United States.
Demographics & Interest Targeting
Once you have set your target location, you can set your potential customer’s targeting.
Most get stuck here, the interesting part is that Facebook AI is smart enough.
We usually go as broad as possible, we leave the age and all the defaults on Facebook (at least for testing and cold traffic, after we see what works, of course we break down and target age and all that)
As a target interest, if we sell something to pets, select pets and click on ‘suggestions’, select from there other interests related to that interest, as broadas possible +1 million.
Automatic & Manual Placement
This is an extremely controversial topic, as I said above, FB AI is smart. When testing we go as broad as possible, after we have given a break down, we can select manual placement.
You can also select manual placement, we recommend Facebook & Instagram feed, it is your choice.
3. Uploading An Image Or Video
Congratulations, you’re almost done setting up a campaign.
There is only one more step, the creative ones, here you can select images, videos, carousels, etc. This will see your potential client on facebook & instagram.
